This romper has been a fav of mine this summer, it’s just so easy to wear. We are now carrying Erika Lauren jewelry, I just love it. She is a local designer and her stuff is unique and resourceful, the feathers on this necklace are made from the rubber from the inner tube of bike tires…so rad!!

We finally got some time when Sarah was working to take some pictures. She is such a beautiful girl, great employee and fabulous makeup artist and I am so lucky to have her at Crave. This was a few weekends ago on a Saturday after Sarah and I had finished doing the makeup for our fourth wedding that day. This maxi skirt by Fluxus is from last year and it is still one of my favorite pieces in my closet. The feminine colors and print of this maxi dress by Mink Pink look stunning on Sarah, and the asymmetrical style makes it a little more unique. .

On June 25th I got the pleasure of doing the makeup for one of my very good friends bride and her wedding party. And then I got to go to the wedding and watch the fabulous couple get married. It was such a beautiful and fun wedding and I am so happy that I got to be a part of it. I have know Chad for years and have always felt he deserved the greatest lady and all the happiness in the world, and I am so happy he has found that. Sara is an amazing lady and could not be more perfect for Chad. Thanks Sara and Chad for throwing a super fun wedding and inviting Gary and I to it, we had a blast, you guys have such a rad group of family and friends!
I have done the makeup for quite a few weddings that have taken place at Maple Grove Guest House and have heard nothing but rave reviews from every bride. And this time I got to actually check it out in action and it truly is the perfect spot for the ceremony and reception. There is undercover part for dinner and dancing, and bar, a playground, horses, volleyball and basketball courts, an area for camping and much more. The owner Shannon and her crew have seriously thought of every detail including making the porta potty area functional and pretty. If you are planning to get married in the Cowichan Valley I highly recommend giving Maple Grove Guest House a call and booking.

I love clothes that feel like your wearing pajamas but look cool. These Eryn Brinie pants are ridiculously comfortable and seriously feel like pajama pants and then wearing a Fluxus top with them put this outfit over the top on the scale of comfort. And Ashta looks so good in this dress by Evil Twin that also is super comfortable and still so rad!

It was so nice out that Ashta and I decided we should take a little tour around downtown Duncan, and we had so much fun and found some great spots to take pictures. We will share more in another post but here are a few. I am always working so I don’t get an opportunity to walk around town, but there sure are some beautiful places.

Even tho my outfit is very casual I still wanted to post these because Ashta finally let me take pictures of her…(thanks Ashta..hehe)! I could live in this top from Fluxus it is one of those items that is easy to throw on at anytime of the year, who says stylish can’t be comfy. If you can’t tell we are a little obsessed with these Charlee Monroe bracelets we are now selling at Crave, they are AWESOME!

I am obsessed with this blazer, it is one of my favorite new items. And these shorts are so perfect for summer they look great with everything and I just love them with this pretty floral cropped tank. On a side note I really need to do something about my roots…I keep procrastinating getting my hair done because I just can’t decide what color to go. Dark, light, natural??? I just don’t know…I would love opinions, what do you guys think?

I am a sucker for cute, comfy and stylish and this is exactly what this sweatshirt is. Unfortunately we didn’t get any good pictures from behind but it has buttons that go all down the back. While we were taking the pictures my lovely friend Andrea showed up so I got a few shots with her and then got her to take some shots of me with Ashta! So I thought I would share them with all of you. I love these two ladies, they both inspire me and make me laugh every day. Andrea moved from Vancouver to the Island for the summer and I am really enjoying getting to spend so much time with her, we have so much fun together no matter what we do. Ashta is now working at Crave 5 days a week and I couldn’t be happier, on top of being a fabulous employee, she is seriously the funniest chick I know and she always knows just what to say when I am having a bad day or am stressed out. I am so lucky to have all of the amazing friends that I have, I love you all!!
