Okay so I know my costume is super boring but after doing Halloween makeup for everyone else all day the last thing I ever want to do is my own. I had planned to give myself some whiskers and a black nose but never did, and now looking at the picture I really wish I had. I love these leggings and sweater so much, not just for a kitty costume but for everyday. They did work perfect for my costume tho. Doesn’t Andrea look stunning as a pirate? She wanted to look mean but there is just no making someone that pretty look mean. I wish I had had time to take pictures of the other Halloween makeup I did. Hopefully I will get picture from everyone who’s makeup I did and then I will share! I hope you all have a happy and safe Halloween!!!

{ Dress; Mink Pink }

Today I turn 29!!! And I couldn’t be happier. I have the most wonderful friends and family that any girl could ever ask for and I am so thankful and grateful for everyone of them. These last few week have been a roller coaster for me with so much going on and it has shown me who and what truly matters in life.

These pictures are of the outfit I wore on Saturday for a little birthday get together we had at our house. It was a great night of visiting, eating (a lot), playing Singstar, laughing and even a little bit of yoga. All in all a perfect night with some of my favorite people and best friends. I truly couldn’t ask for more. Today has been fabulous so far and it is only going to get better. In about an hour I am going to get a tattoo (sorry mum). And then two of my best friends are taking me out. I feel so special and so spoiled. Hopefully we will get some time to take some pictures and I will share them soon!

Just wanted to do a quick post and say Happy Thanksgiving to all you wonderful people who read my blog! I am very thankful for all of you and for all of my amazing friends and family. I hope everyone has a fabulous weekend filled with family, food and fun. I have two dinners to go to this weekend, and we will be bringing our own food to each. We have decided on two of our favorite dishes mulligatawny soup and quinoa salad…not very Thanksgivingy but delicious!

Hunter Boots are finally back in stock, YAY!!! We were so excited we couldn’t help having a little fun with all the rad new colors. Right now we have a large variety that includes all the ones above plus lots more but they are already selling very fast. We both have to decide what color we want…I was planning on getting red Hunters this year but I am in love the cranberry ones, especially with my new leopard shirt from Mink Pink. Decisions. Decisions.

These pictures are from last weekend when we went to a friends surprise birthday party. The party was a blast and the birthday girl was so surprised. Her husband came up with a very elaborate plan to make sure she was. He had a friend pretend she was getting married, there was a fake ring, stagette, invitations, everything! She had no idea, and it was hilarious watching her jump when she turned the corner and realized she was not at a wedding. Then we danced all night!

This romper is one of my favorite things I have ever worn it is so comfortable and super cute. I had planed on wearing heels with it but I had been up since 6am cause we had some early morning weddings to do the makeup for so by the time of the party my feet were killing me, so sparkly flat it was!

I love date nights. Gary took these pictures of me around Victoria as we walked around enjoying one of the last summer nights. We also made a stop in Chapter where I got four new books. I love getting new books. Then we went to dinner and a movie. It was a perfect night and this was the perfect date night outfit. This dress from Covet is cute and can be worn a million different ways and this sweater from Free People is also a great layering piece with so many outfit possibilities (I am sure both these pieces  will make a few more appearances on here).

The other day we took a walk around to find some new places to take pictures and found lots of great spots including this big apple tree, there were to many bees around it to get to close but we will be back.

I am in Bellingham right now and off to Vegas tomorrow with my bestfriend’s for my friend Matt’s birthday!!! So there probably wont be any posts over the next few days but I will be taking lots of pictures and doing a photo diary of the trip when we are back.

I am loving thermals right now and this striped one from Free People is one of my favorites we have at Crave. I have been dying to wear it so as soon as we had a cooler day I threw it on with my Something Else shorts. I tried really hard to get some pictures of Ashta but as you can see she was being stubborn!

Last week we had Ashta’s adorable puppy Orla at the store for a few days. We took her for a walk and found this fun little ally with paintings on either side. Lucca (my pup) and Orla are sisters, they are from different litters but they have the same dad. Below is a picture of the two of them, aren’t they are just the cutest things ever?!

These pictures are from a few Mondays ago when it was raining. Ashta and I decided to go out and have some fun jumping in puddles. I am not complaining about the warm weather but I have missed my Hunters and I am not going to lie I was a little happy when I got to wear them for the day!
